Low Glare LED Profile

Low Glare LED Profiles are specially designed to reduce glare in LED lighting applications. They are produced using proprietary embossing techniques and enable lighting products to achieve low UGR (unified glare rating) performance. These profiles feature high efficiency that exhibits low levels of glare, with an opal or patterned appearance that is pleasing to the eye.

When used correctly and optimized for LED profile placement, UGR ratings below 20 can typically be achieved with low-glare profiles. These profiles also exhibit good wide-angle cut-off performance, especially between 70 to 90 degrees from normal. One of the positive by-products of this form of glare reduction is that more light is directed into the area beneath the fixture, increasing the “useful lumens” that fall within the given work area.
